Campaign Story

Emergination Africa have identified 65 in school and out of school learners, 13 ventures (led by these learners aged 18-22) and are nurturing these African youths with entrepreneurial skills, then equipping them with seed funding, networks and mentorship to turn business ideas into real world products and services that go on the market and improve their livelihoods and those of their communities. Emergination are seeking funding to further capacitate the ventures they have identified through programs.

Since 2021, the Virtual Innovation Accelerator (VIA) program has incubated 13 learner ventures. These ventures have shown promising progress, albeit facing certain obstacles that impede their expansion. They have achieved crucial milestones like company registration, acquisition of necessary machinery, and production initiation. Although they’ve been successful in creating a market for their products, they’re finding it challenging to fulfill the demand due to a lack of sufficient resources.

Emergination plans to assist 25 learner ventures to secure funds for acquiring necessary machinery, cover production space costs, conduct research, and launch marketing campaigns to meet their product demand. This will not only generate employment opportunities but also address community issues (i.e., food processing, malnutrition, community health) that these ventures aim to solve.
